Optum Forum Review: “Accelerating the move toward data as a service”

Each year at Optum Forum we present the latest advancements in services and solutions aimed at how well gets done. This year’s event included the launch of OptumIQ™ and Optum Performance Analytics.

Now we’re learning what attendees think about these initiatives. Massachusetts-based International Data Corporation (IDC) reviewed Optum Forum 2017 and the initiatives unveiled there.

Authors of the IDC review added that OptumIQ™ represents a more mature and coherent approach that unifies Optum analytics, data, software and services.

Optum Performance Analytics

Optum Performance Analytics integrates clinical and claims data with sociodemographic, behavioral and patient-reported data to provide an understanding of patients, physicians, facilities and networks, and predict risk and improve outcomes.

The IDC authors said the combination of data with proven analytic models in a single platform is unprecedented in the market and is enhanced by Optum consulting, systems integration and both customized and off-the-shelf applications.
