Helping employers solve the riddle of health management value

Many companies invest in health management programs to improve employee health and productivity and to contain health care costs. Yet employers often find it a challenge to determine the value of these health and wellness programs, especially because traditional evaluation methods can take a long time.

As a recent Optum survey shows, employers are looking for quicker ways to understand if their programs are working effectively. It’s clear that we need new strategies to provide real-time understanding of the benefits of a health management program.

And these new approaches are emerging. Optum’s David Czerwinski and Jess Lewis recently wrote about one of these innovations in Corporate Wellness Magazine: “Innovative Strategy Can Yield Faster, Deeper Insights into Wellness Program Benefits.”
